Objective of the service

Boost the potential of the key innovators identified by the Innovation Radar by means of mentoring and training services and direct support to maximize fundraising opportunities.

Offer for the Open Call: 

  • Feedback on your SME Instrument or Fast Track to Innovation proposals. Up to 20 proposals reviewed.
  • Personalized reports on public funding opportunities for 20 innovators by Zabala Innovation Consulting.

Service description

New public funding opportunities will be analysed by the group of experts of ZABALA who will provide general webinars on EU funding and prepare tailor-made reports on public funding opportunities at EU level (and in some markets, even national and regional)

H2020 and FP9 intro webinar (once a year, for all groups)

  • 1-hour online webinar recorded and published.
  • Introduction to the main framework programme in the EU and basic structure on how funding works.
  • Q&A session

SME Instrument webinar (once a year, silver and bronze category)

  • SME Instrument is one of the most interesting tools provided by the EC to help and support SMEs.
  • 2-hour webinar + Q&A session

Customized opportunities identification (gold category)

  • Personal interview with a selected group of beneficiaries to analyse their R&D activities.
  • Summary table of related opportunities in EU calls for the coming year.

Alternative EU funding opportunities (once per year, for all groups)

  • Webinar on opportunities emerging from other programmes different than H2020 and the coming FP9.
  • This could include calls like cascade-grants, Life+, CEF Telecom, Eranets, Eureka, Eurostars, Interreg, etc.

The Innovation Radar (IR) is an EC initiative focused on the identification of high potential innovations and the key innovators behind them in FP7, CIP and Horizon 2020 projects. It supports innovators by suggesting a range of targeted actions to assist them in fulfilling their potential in the market.
