The Innovation Radar (IR) is an EC initiative focused on the identification of high potential innovations and the key innovators behind them in FP7, CIP and Horizon 2020 projects. The Innovation Radar Tool is a data-driven online tool which provides easy access to innovations supported by EU funding and the innovators behind them. It is available via https://ec.europa.eu/innovation-radar or mobile apps.
The Innovation Radar tool was officially kicked-off by Commissioner Gabriel on the Digital Day 2018 in Brussels on the 10th of April 2018: “Europe has a great track record in developing new technologies and EU funding plays a major role. With the Innovation Radar we are launching today we not only want to showcase EU-funded innovations but also help innovators in key technologies such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity connect to other entrepreneurs and businesses, investors, incubators and accelerators to speed up their market entry and growth. I invite everyone to have a look at the exciting innovations the EU is funding.”
The launch also brought the signature of a commitment by different Member States divided on three main points:

No. We offer services not direct funding. Nevertheless, some of the services are directly oriented to train you in being more effective when fund-raising.
Any organization but large enterprises that appear at the Innovation Radar tool. If you are not listed on the Innovation Radar, you are not eligible.
Unfortunately, no. We are focused only in the results presented in the Innovation Radar.
No, we can’t. The process of adding innovations in the Innovation Radar depends directly of the European Commission and not in IRSUS.

The team at IRSUS will evaluate your applications and contact you back in August with the list of services that are available for each type of applicant (according to their needs).
Yes. Large companies in the radar and organisations not listed in the radar are NOT eligible.
We will study in a case by case basis. Initially submit with at least one of the innovations and we will come back to you to see how we can adapt. We can develop a fit-for-purpose offer depending on the size of your organization and type of innovations behind it.
The data you provide through the online application will be used only by the consortium partners and the EC under request.
We will elaborate and publish fully anonymized statistics out of the data you provide.
An online portfolio of innovators will be also published, but any shared content will be agreed with you beforehand.
